21 to 30 years on 31 December 2026. 31 December of the year before the exam year (CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019, Rule 5).
How many CSS CE-2027 attempts are allowed?
3. You use one of your 3 chances the moment you appear in at least one paper of the written exam — even a blank answer sheet counts (Rule 11(16)). The MPT screening test itself is not one of these papers, so failing MPT does not use up a written attempt — this is FPSC's established practice, not explicitly written into the Rules text.
What is the Punjab PMS — Upcoming Cycle age limit?
21 to 30 years on the official cutoff date. PPSC reckons age as of 1 January of the year following the advertisement.
What is the KP PMS 2026 age limit?

4. You use a chance the moment you sit even one paper — an absence keeps your chance intact. The normal limit is 3, but KPPSC has temporarily raised it to 4 for PMS exams held in 2025 and 2026 only.

How is age calculated?
Using exact calendar-date arithmetic between your date of birth and the reference date — accounting for leap years and real month lengths, never an approximation.
Is a provincial PMS cutoff automatically 1 January of next year?
No. An age-relaxation notification sets an age ceiling, not a cutoff date. The exact cutoff for a specific cycle comes only from that cycle's official advertisement, or from a fixed rule formula once that cycle is confirmed active.
